Summer's Story...
Summer season is here! We’re not talking about the weather, but the adorable Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix who is just as beautiful as her name! Summer is a very chill dog with medium to low energy who loves to stay by your side and keep you company. She’s not the demanding type and has a very sweet personality – she’s the “poster child” of an easy going dog. She’s also the perfect size (12 lbs) and can go with you everywhere you go and will do very well in social situations including being around other dogs big or small. Summer also loves to go out for a walk for that perfect sunny day! She is also crate-trained. If you’re interested about Summer please fill out an application at www.downtowndogrescue.org. You can also call 818-407-4145 or email adopt.ddr@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Los Angeles Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
