My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hewey and her siblings (Dewey and Louie) ended up in a kill shelter with horrible wounds. Louie has a nasty cut in his leg (you can see a picture on our FB page), probably due to a leash or rope, while Dewey and Hewey have horrible infected lacerations in their neck from embedded collars (these are even too graphic to show). When someone arrived to us with them in the car for us to see them, we could not resist. So they stayed! They are 5 months old and super sweet. We need to keep them separate so that they do not lick each other wounds but they look for each others. All three will be available for adoption after we make sure they wound are healing well. Hewey has the worse cut of all three and it is really really bad. But she was a trooper and she let her clean her and shave without any complain. She will probably have a permanent scar but she should start healing well soon. She is very wiggly and it was hard to take pictures of them so come back for more and better pictures as they settle in.
