My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie is a gentle, 8-ish yr. old Lhasa who follows his foster mom everywhere. He has not been around cats in his foster home but has been fine with the younger, smaller dog (Chihuahua) in the house. He’s not very active preferring to lay next to his foster mom on the sofa or lay in his crate and sleep while she’s working. Alfie is on the shy side and tends to stay close to his human in new situations or meeting new people. He relaxes once he feels comfortable.



Alfie is crate trained and housetrained and has excellent manners around the house. He’s a quiet dog and if someone rings the bell or knocks on the door he will bark a little and stop when he figures his job is done.



He has learned to sit and wait for his treats and food. He lets me put my hand around his food and bowl while he’s eating and he eats near the other dog with no problems noted. They also sit side by side for treats and Alfie has not shown any issues.



Alfie is happy just being near his human and will be great company to an older single or couple in a quiet household as an only dog or with another laid back dog. Alfie is being fostered in Willow Grove, PA and his asking adoption fee is $200.
