My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mudpie is Adopted

Mudpie is currently being fostered in Mentor Ohio, and his adoption donation is $275

Mudpie is an approximately 1-2 yrs old, chocolate male cocker spaniel.
He came into our rescue from a shelter in KY, where he had been turned in along with 2 other dogs.
The owners stated they were moving and could not take the dogs.

Mudpie was in terrible shape, he was severely flea infested, his coat was a matted mess, and he had intestinal parasites.
It was obvious that this boy was not taken care of properly, the fleas were so bad that he couldnt hold still, he contstantly scratched and whined, and was just miserable.
Mudpie spent over a week in boarding at the vets, and was completely vetted including his neuter, all of his vaccines, soothing baths for his skin, dewormed and heartworm tested.
His skin is taking a little longer to heal from the infestation, but is much better than it was.

We have tested him with small children, and he seems very uneasy and nervous around them, so we are requiring an adult only home for him.
He is definitely an active younger cocker, and needs some training, but overall he is a sweet boy and does appear to be housetrained from what we have seen so far.
Mudpie goes into a crate nicely and and will sleep there all night quietly.
He does well with other dogs and likes to play and romp around with them.

Mudpie is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
