My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raymond is a handsome 8 month old purebred Border Collie. He is very sweet and well-mannered, especially for such a young puppy! He does get excited and jump up a bit but is very easy to teach and is smart as a whip. "Ray" loves all the people he's met and is always happy for some pets or for someone to play with him with toys. He is also good with all the dogs he's met and LOVES to play with his foster sister. Raymond does need a 6 foot fence as he could easily jump a 4 foot one.

It's almost easy to forget to mention that Raymond is blind, because it hardly effects his wonderful personality. When Ray first goes to a new location, he will bump into a few things but doesn't take long to learn the layout of his surroundings. After that, he has no problem. It seems that Ray can see shadows. Our veterinarian agrees and believes that Ray's vision problems are genetic, and that they will probably not get any worse.
