My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: April, now known as Cali, was found at a kill shelter having been surrendered to them by her adoptive family due to moving because they did not want to take her with them. Thankfully, the microchip company called us to let us know she was at the shelter. She was saved from being put to sleep in the nick of time due to no fault of her own. Her foster mom says that Cali is just as sweet as she was when she was rescued by her as a puppy. There are no lasting effects from her horrible experience. Cali is full grown and weighs 32 lbs. She gets along well with kids and is currently in a home with a teenager. She also gets along well with other dogs. Cali loves to snuggle and give lots of love! Hopefully, we can make her a permanent Happily Ever After with a loving family who will not ever give up on her again!!!

Hi, I am April! Me and my brother, Jr. were found by our foster family while they were on vacation. Our mother and other siblings had been run over and we were left with no one to take care of us. Thankfully our foster family decided to step in and take us back home with them. We were covered in more fleas and ticks than anyone had ever seen. We have been put on flea and tick prevention and are on antibiotics to make sure we don't get sick. We are crate training and which is helping us with our housebreaking skills. We currently weigh 6 lbs. We are learning to love our new family and will be ready for adoption at the end of September. Hope we get a family really soon!
