Horse's Story...
Horse is one laid back little man. He is a chihuahua about 2 years old. He is very shy at first, but also very affectionate. He gets along great with the other little dogs here, there are about  a dozen of them, they run and play and truly enjoy each others company. Horse is a mellow man, he likes to sit back and watch while the really rowdy bunch carries on. He is neutered, uptodate on vaccines and micro-chipped. He would be a great lap dog for a senior or best friend to a family as well, he goes with the flow. He is more than ready for a family of his own. He is crate trained as well. His adoption fee is $150 which goes toward rescue of another dog. If you would like to meet him contact us 931-698-0303 or

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Horse, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
