Sydney's Story...
Hi I'm Sydney and I'm looking for a home! I'm a 7pound Chihuahua Mix puppy. My vet thinks I'm about 5 months old. My foster mom took one look at my sweet face and decided she had to rescue me from the animal shelter. I was brought to the shelter on 11/5 after I was hit by a car, but now you would never know I ha such a terrible accident. Amazingly, I didn't have any serious internal injuries or broken bones. I am very affectionate. I like to be held and carried, and I like to give people kisses on the nose. I also walk quite well on leash. I am up to date on shots, de-wormed, spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested in me- please call my foster mom Michele at 310-927-8653 or email mwesthoff76@yahoo.com. She has a few requirements to adopt me- fill out an application, have a home visit, and a $200 donation to help cover my medical expenses. Normal stuff!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Los Angeles Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
