My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Libra and my astrological sign seeks peace and harmony. That is what I want in my forever home. One week ago I was a big problem to the person who let my Mom have 10 puppies; a person who wasn’t in any position to provide us with good homes. Four of us were handed out to people like day old bread – I hope they are safe. “What were they thinking!” is what I and my littermates keep asking ourselves. Well, we are just going to put one paw in front of the other and look forward to a good life where we will be loved and cherished for all of our time on this earth. No longer a problem but a blessing to the lucky family who takes me home. Hey, we even have names now and we are being encouraged to play with toys, roughhouse with each other, and go outside to potty (that is kind of hit and miss right now!). Understand that whoever adopts me will have their work cut out for them. Potty training, exercise, obedience training, socializing, and playing ... the list is long and time consuming. I need a home where there is someone home during the day; it is not right to leave a puppy for hours at a time, day in and day out. We need to be around humans and other dogs. Well, if you think you are up for the challenge, we can be a team. In return for a forever home, I promise my unconditional love and affection. You won’t get a better deal.
