My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper came to us from a puppy mill in Holmes County. She was dropped at the vet to be euthanized when the "breeder" no longer had any use for her. She is estimated to be around 3 years young. Pepper is a very sweet girl that is learning the joys of living in a home. Pepper's fur was shaved due to matting but when it grows back out she will have a gorgeous silver and white long coat. She does well with kids and other dogs. Pepper is still working on house training and is still a bit timid, but she is making progress. She likes to play with toys and sleep on her new bed. Pepper is very sweet and just wants to be loved and her own special family. Are you the person for Pepper? Please go to www.codrl.org for an application to adopt. Central Ohio Dog Rescue is not a shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in our homes and treated as family until they are adopted. We save puppy mill dogs and shelter dogs that were due to be euthanized. We will not ship dogs and all perspective adopters will need to complete an application before adoption. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered will be adopted out with a spay/neuter agreement and refundable deposit. Perspective adopters must be at least 22 years of age to adopt. All pets in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm. We process many applications and may not respond to every applicant.
