Looking for a buddy? We have just the right buddy for you! Buddy is an Akita mix and is about 10-months old.
Buddy enjoys interacting and playing with people. He has spent his life with his mother and sister so he is use to sharing with his family and following his mother's lead. He is a great follower and pays attention to what his human friends want him to do. Buddy is waiting at the shelter for his special someone to take him home so he can start his new life with his new family.

CALL FIRST TO MAKE SURE HE IS STILL AVAILABLE! This will help the staff a great deal. They cannot "hold" an animal for you, but if you are coming a long distance, they will hold for your drive time.
Please come by or call today.... Calaveras County Animal Services is located off Hwy 49 in San Andreas on Mountain Ranch Road, (East of Stockton, in the foothills). By law, pets must be spayed/neutered before adoption, so it may mean two trips.
