Sparky's Story...
Sparky is a sweet, high-energy Border Collie/ Shepard mix who is 2 years old and 50 pounds. His back suffered some burns while he was out on his own but he is fully recovered and his hair is growing back beautifully. He is very, very handsome and always has a smile on his face. Sparky has a big personality and gets along with everyone including other dogs and cats. He especially loves people. He is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. He is very, very smart and would be a great running and hiking companion or a great addition to an active family. He is still a puppy at heart, lovesto chase balls, play with his stuffed toys, take car rides, visit the dog park and take walks around the neighborhood. He is able to climb over a 4' fence so a secure yard is a must. If you are looking for a sweet, energetic, eager-to -please, handsome dog, Sparky may be the one for you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Homewood Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
