Rocky is an awesome dog, He is fully vetted in that he is neutered, on heart worm and flea preventative, and up to date on rabies. He is loving and affectionate, likes dogs and cats and all people. He is strong though so little children could get knocked over, but he would be a great family dog. He also needs some training on walking on a leash because he is so strong and pulls. I have not devoted the time to that yet, but did get him fully potty trained to go outside. He knows several tricks and is really smart. He is a people dog and needs to be in the house. He would make a great walking or running buddy for someone. He is long and lean and has beautiful white markings and a shiny dark chocolate coat. He comes with his own toys. I think he may have some Greyhound in him since he is so fast and loves to run.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
