My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Bindi is a super sweet girl! She was found wandering the streets dragging a chain; the chain was wrapped around her neck and was partially ingrown, so tight that it was cutting into her. Forever Yours rescue here in Norman, OK took care of her and got her neck healed. Bindi was in a foster home and doing well, but her foster family moved and were unable to keep her and so she was brought to us as a temporary foster. We fell in love with Bindi and decided to take her into our rescue program in April of 2013. She has been living at our facility for a year and a half now and while we all love her to bits, we'd love it even more to see her into a home of her very own!

Bindi is a very high energy Pit mix who is very good natured and absolutely loves people. She likes playing with toys (especially tennis balls) and would be fantastic as a hiking or jogging partner. She is strong and has a ton of energy and enthusiasm about everything and everyone she encounters!

Bindi gets very, very excited when she sees other dogs. She wants to rush at them full speed, and this usually results in conflict. Annie's staff has been working with her and when she is slowly and carefully introduced, she will usually eventually settle down and play well. However, this could present challenges for her in the world outside the rescue, and a potential foster or forever home should be aware of these issues. In her previous foster home she did very well with their male dogs, and she has played well with most male and female dogs here at Annie's. She is definitely able to be worked with, and loves people with all her heart! We hope that someone will give her a chance to have the happy home she deserves.

**Bindi is currently in a foster-to-adopt home!**
