Peewee's Story...
Peewee is a terrier mix pup who was found in a Target parking lot the day of the May 20 tornado. We believe he was not a tornado victim, but rather the victim of an unkind person who dumped him.

Peewee is a wonderful puppy who we think is about 9 months old as of November 2013. He is likely not going to get much taller, though he may still put on a few pounds until he reaches his full adult weight. He loves to play and to investigate new things, but when activity winds down he loves to cuddle up at your feet. Annie's staff have taken him home on weekends and he does very well with cats and other dogs, and loves kids! He is neutered, up to date on shots, crate trained, and doing well with house-training. Come meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peewee, a Norman Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Norman, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
