Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Stella's Story...
Stella has been returned to us due to her owner moving and through no fault of her own. She is an awesome dog and should do fine in almost any household. Though she does frighten easily when in unfamiliar surroundings so it may take her a bit to come out of her shell!

Stella was the mother of a litter of puppies Annie's took in August of 2013. She is fixed and up to date on her shots.

Stella is a mixed breed, possibly Catahoula Leopard Dog (or some other kind of Australian Shepherd, cattle dog, or other herding dog). We think she is about 2-3 years old. She is housebroken, crate trained, and she is very friendly and loves to play with the other dogs at Annie's! She really, REALLY loves her squeaky toys, and while she is active and playful, she is also a cuddler and would love nothing more than a warm body to snuggle up with while watching TV or reading a book.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Stella, please call us at (405)-310-3084 or email us to set up an appointment!

About Annie's Rescue Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

Annie's Rescue Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Annie's Ruff House, a locally-owned and operated doggie daycare and boarding studio in Norman, Oklahoma. We take in strays and help local shelters and other rescues with dogs in immediate need. We provide food and shelter for dogs (temporary shelter or, in special cases, longer-term); our other work includes establishing a pet food pantry, helping with out-of-state rescue transport, and assisting with disaster relief for pets and pet owners. While we only work with dogs, we are proud to partner with shelters, rescues, vet clinics, businesses, and other members of the animal-loving community to seek out safe and loving homes for the critters in our care!

The dogs we have available for adoption are a variety of breeds (and mutts!) and range from puppies to seniors. Our dogs are spayed or neutered as soon as possible after we take them in, and Annie's maintains current shots and any necessary medication for dogs until they are adopted.

Our Adoption Process...

Annie's adoption procedures are as follows:

1) Call us at 405-310-3084 to ask us about a dog, and to set up an appointment to meet one of our rescue dogs in person. Making an appointment is important to make certain we have staff available to assist you!

2) Once you have met a dog, we ask that you fill out an adoption application.

3) We will contact your references and conduct a home visit to see where the dog will be living.

4) If everything is approved, there is an adoption fee of $35.

5) Once your application has been approved, you can take your new friend home and enjoy a lifetime of doggy love!
