Magpie's Story...
Magpie is a quiet, playful girl, estimated at 3 months old. Named after the birds who love to hoard shiny things, Magpie has been known to "relocate" small toys to special hiding spots, and can often be found toting her favorite crinkly ball around in her mouth. This silly girl tends to be a little on the shy side, letting her sister Juliette explore new places first, but Magpie loves people and is hilarious to watch once she gets settled into a new environment. She is great with children, and will warm up to dogs after proper introductions. To receive an application to adopt Magpie, email us at info@FORrescue.net today!
Magpie is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magpie, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
