My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rita is a 1-2 year old Silky Terrier. She weighs about 12 lbs, and
her coat will be gorgeous when it grows out. When this adorable
little girl came to us, she was so matted that she could barely move.
She was found in the woods, tangled in the chain around her neck,
which was also tangled into the underbrush. She is now safe and warm
in her loving foster home. Rita loves people, and wants to be with
you constantly. Her behavior with other furbabies has been erratic -
sometimes she acts ferocious toward them, and sometimes she ignores
them. We are sure this is a result of neglect and abuse in her
previous life, so a home where she can be an "only child" would be
best. Rita is not a barker. She likes to play and give kisses and is
housetrained. She likes going for walks. She needs an adult home of
her own where she can be spoiled rotten! Wouldn't you like to have
this sweet little Silky Terrier?
