My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Buster is a sweet and kind 5 year old male Rottweiler who was part of a neglect and abuse case in rural TN. He was found with 10 other dogs and cats at a home where they were left behind when the owners were evicted from their rental house. Below is what was written about Buster upon meeting him…
I only met him twice so far, but he had me at 'hello'. Not because his sores were so bad, his fur was so scruffy and he was so skinny. No, because he was such a nice dog, did not jump like crazy, did not overwhelm you, he was calm and just happy getting petted. He buried his head in your side and between your legs trying to be close. He is in boarding to get out of the sad condition he is in right now, getting the proper food and medication, after a life in horrible conditions and being finally rescued by our local police and animal control officers. He had to spend a month in “custody” where his treatment started, being evidence in an animal cruelty case. He is such a nice dog that enjoys every bit of attention he gets and is just happy receiving it. He needs a good home where he can catch up on all the things he has missed out on in his former life. He walks on a leash, loves rolling in the grass, which I bet feels good on his healing skin and growing fur. And if he finds a way - he will be on your lap. Has he found a way to your heart? Call or email and be ready for some questions. Think of it as a job interview - A dog like Buster only deserves the best home. His next home should be forever, and we will do our best to find it for him. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
