Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brisa was rescued from an animal shelter and is currently in a foster home in that area until we receive her on April 29. We'll have her spayed right away and need a foster or permanent home for her asap after that, as we have NO ROOM to accommodate additional rescue dogs at this time. Brisa's special needs are that she is deaf, and not well socialized with people. She's 8 months old, good with other dogs, afraid of cats, and does not seem to be prey-driven at all. We're considering placing her only in a home with another dog, one that can hear and is dog-social, to help teach Brisa what she needs to know. She isn't housebroken and she does need to learn some sort of basic sign language or hand signals so that she can be well-integrated into a new home. With respect to people, she likes to be petted, but only briefly, before she resumes her active Dobie sprint around the yard.
