SMOKEY - 2013's Story...
SMOKEY was born April 9th, 2013. He is an affectionate bundle of love. His purr is loud and strong and he just adores being held. He is a very inquisitive kitten, very friendly, and also super playful. This kitten does not like to be left alone and would not do well in a one-cat household. He needs to be adopted to a household where there is already a kitty friend or consider adopting a pair so that he has a friend to play with. He gets along with everybody and will be sure to steal your heart as he has ours. His left eye sometimes has the third eyelid showing, but the vet has assured us that there is no medical issue, it's just a sometimes droopy eye. Gives him character! SMOKEY is healthy, up to date on shots, and litter box trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SMOKEY - 2013, a Hamilton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
