STITCH - 2014's Story...
STITCH is 1 1/2 yr. & a sweetheart of a cat, with a richly colored chocolate/ginger tiger coat (not able to see this in the photos, come see him in person), and he is extremely affectionate. However, he is not crazy about living with other cats unless he can be the dominate male in the environment. He may be okay adopted with a kitten where he can make sure they know early on who is the boss. With people, he is a complete lap cat, loving all the attention you can lavish on him and he is so easy to handle. He lets you hold him and trim his nails with no problem. STITCH has a most unique way of vocalizing with a trill of a meow to get your attention, and he chirps! It's quite endearing. We love this cat. He will make a great family pet as long as it is not a multi-pet household. STITCH is healthy, already neutered, up to date on all shots, and litter box trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

STITCH - 2014, a Hamilton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
