Hi there! My name is Tonka. I love playing with DaBird and the little mouse too. Wild Blue rescued me and my sister who has already been adopted and they have taken really good care of us. I am grown up now and have lots of new cat friends now to play with but am so ready to go to my forever home.If you would like to meet me, please call for an appointment or you can come see me at the Petco Adoption Fair on Saturdays.

About Our Rescue Group...

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.

We are strong believers in and supporters of spay/neuter programs, Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR), and the Human-Animal Connection.

We are always in need of volunteers, and especially Foster Homes! We welcome your support!

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may see our wonderful kitties at our facility by appointment. Please contact Lauri or Allison for an appointment at (719) 213-1127. Please send an email and we'll try to respond as quickly as possible.

We also take a selected few of our pets to adoption fairs each week. We are at the PetCo at Union and Powers (Prominent Pt) from noon to 4PM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and the PetCo on N. Nevada (University Village shopping area) on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. Some of our animals are a bit shy, or can get stressed at such locations, though, so we like to show them at our location when we can.

Cats: $75
Kittens: $95

$75 surrender fee (or donation of equal/greater value)

Application and Contract Required.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!
