Milo's Story...
Meet our magnificent Milo! He is a 7 year old Labrador mix. Milo was found as a stray and brought to the local pound before he was transferred to our shelter. Milo is neutered, micro chipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. He will do best in a home with no other animals, he prefers to be the center of attention. Milo enjoys being with people and would make a great addition to any family or someone looking for that perfect companion to share everyday adventures with. Take a minute and stop in to meet this handsome fellow!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Muskegon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
