Spike's Story...
Who's ready to PARTY!? My name is Spike! You may have heard about me as being the most fun dog on the block! Just check out my awesome party hair to prove it! I was found lost in Green Bay, WI, in August, 2013, and now I'm at Happily Ever After trying to find my new forever home so I can party hardy! You might be a little bit curious about my hairdo.. Well rest easy, the volunteers at HEA did not do this to me! It's just how they found me, and I will be visiting the neighborhood hair stylist any day now to see about returning to my original color (all white, no pink or green!). My estimated birthday is August, 2010. I'm so very excited to find my forever home, I promise to be an amazing companion and party buddy! Please stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! You can visit me weekdays from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm! Rock on, Spike **PS: You may recognize me as "AC444" from Packerland Veterinary Center's Green Bay Lost Pets website!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Green Bay Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
