I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Palie (pronounced PAY-lee, or PayPay) is on the search for a new forever home! Could it be yours?
Palie is an adorable purebred Toy Poodle. Palie loves to go for hikes and loves to run around. She has plenty of energy for playtime, but she also mellows out and is not high strung when hanging out with her family. She is a very loving, friendly little dog. She loves to cuddle and get loved on. The perfect lap dog! Palie doesn't sleep alone at night; she prefers to sleep in bed with the older children. So at least consider having her sleep in your room if possible!
Palie loves to go for rides in the car too! She already knows several verbal commands. Once she learns that she is your family and she's bonded with you, she will do well off leash.
Palie is good with other dogs and even lives with another dog right now. She has not lived with cats before, so we are unsure of her cat friendliness. She did interact with chickens before - she loved the game of chase and got a little too playful with the terrified chickens. So maybe only cat households where the cats are very 'dog savvy,' or cat-free households please! (We offer a free week trial if you want to try things out with your cat.)
Palie currently current home has twin toddlers (and older children). The toddlers are a bit too much for her, and the reason why she is looking for a new home. They are very curious with her and love to investiage her personal space. The sudden movements and screams are making everyone very stressed. She has nipped to let the wee ones know to 'back off.' We ask that Palie go to a new home that does not have small children (under 6). However, older children are OK.
Palie is of the apricot Toy Poodle variety, but looks very blonde after her grooming. She weighs about 10 pounds and is 6+ years old. Such a peanut! You can see she was freshly groomed for her photo shoot - she will need regular groomer visits being a Poodle!
The adoption fee for this dog is $200 which includes the spay or neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. More information about Four Paws Rescue
Four Paws Rescue is a private, 501(c)3, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long home.
Since our shelter is not set up for drop by visits, appointments can be made with our Director to meet any dog in person. Just leave a detailed message with Lisa (Director) at 435-752-3534 or email her volunteer at email@example.com.
Our adoption fees range from $125-200. Each pet is spayed or neutered, and current on rabies, parvo and distemper vaccinations
