Patches's Story...
Patches is a white and brown, long-haired tabby cat. She is about 3 years old. Her owner died and the family members didn't want her and her siblings, so they simply opened the door and let them out. She was an indoor cat and did not know the life of a stray. She and her siblings managed to find a feral cat colony where they could eat...this is how we found them. Patches if very thankful that she was found before the cold weather came in, she didn't like living the life of a stray. If interested, please stop by for a visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Bristol Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bristol, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bristol.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bristol already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bristol breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bristol paves the way for another one to be saved.
