Maggie's Story...
Maggie is such a sweetie! She was born in June 2013 and she is a Serbian Shepherd X, so she is going to be a BIG girl when she's full grown (potentially 80-100lbs). Serbian Shepherds are livestock guardian dogs, like a Great Pyrenese, so they like to have a job to do and they LOVE their people!
Maggie loves her kennel and goes there for naps when she's tired. She sleeps well through the night and hasn't had any accidents in the house. Maggie loves her squeaker toys, and is just a very sweet, lovable girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
