STORMIE - see video's Story...
Stormie is a sweet, nice girl who has been stuck in isolation due to a lack of space at the shelter. She knows sit but did not want to “stay”. Stormie is a little bit shy but as you can see from her video she likes to play with other dogs. She was an owner turn in on Sept. 4th and her family indicated she is good with kids. It is difficult for any dog to be surrendered to an animal control facility. Most dogs fret over the loss of familiar surroundings and the people they knew. Stormie is about 1 yr old and weighs 59 lbs. She is current on vaccines and will be spayed, micro chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Her ID is 559431 and she is in run 811.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Why Adoption is a Great Option

STORMIE - see video, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
