found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am housetrained and up to date with shots.
Molly "found" our neighborhood in mid-June. She stayed and never left, and after a week or so, it was apparent she was pregnant. She was likely abandoned because of her condition. She had a collar, no tags. She was very scared, and it took 10 days before she would let anyone get close enough to pet her. After she started to trust me, she was like a different dog - tail wagging and happy! What a great transformation! I had her scanned for a microchip, not surprisingly, she didn't have one.
All the shelters were full but Homeless Pets accepted Molly (and her pups) into their rescue program. Molly's puppies were born July 2nd. Four boys, four girls. They're large and healthy!
Molly is a mystery mix of, perhaps, German Shepherd and Cattle dog. She's long and lean and weighs about 55 pounds. She's smart, agile, curious, and almost a pup herself at 1-2 years old. We taught her sit, shake and down, all in one day! She also had no trouble learning that we wanted her to use the pine straw (not grass) outside for potty breaks!
