Callessie's Story...
Hi my name is Callessie. I am nine months old. I was rescued from a high kill shelter. My foster home has five dogs and 4 cats so you might say....I get along with everybody....I love them all. I really like my foster brothers. I like to run with them in the yard but I really like to snuggle up with my foster mom at night. I am house trained and I know my basic commands. I also do well in the crate when my foster mom has to work. My foster mom thinks that I am just beautiful and sweet as can be. Would you like to meet me. Please contact Tamara @ 919-624-1981 for more details

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callessie, a Apex Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Apex, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
