Millie's Story...

Millie   $50 adoption fee
1 year old
Millie was signed over to our shelter when her previous owner didn’t have enough time to devote to her. Her previous owner did let us know that she has been housebroken, does great with children, like other dogs and will chase a cat. Millie is such and outgoing and fun girl to have around. She loves to be loved and just wants to cuddle when she first meets you. Millie is lots of energy and would love a home with a big back yard and lots of people to play with. This girl is a blast and ready for a forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Fruit Heights Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
