Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When we met baby Cocoa, her "owners" were tearfully bringing her into one of the highest-kill shelters in the country. Knowing how rampant disease is in this shelter, and how vulnerable such a tiny puppy would be, we stopped the family and asked if we could help. They explained to us that they had brought sweet Cocoa home, fallen in love...and then been caught by their landlord - pets were not allowed.
Thankfully, they allowed us to take Cocoa instead of letting her become a statistic in the shelter system, and we are so glad they did. Cocoa has absolutely blown our minds with how truly wonderful she is. She is quiet, sweet, and completely calm. She loves to be held, and is truly easygoing and complacent.
Cocoa, at only 3 months and 3.5 pounds, is about as perfect as they come. She is smart and loving and will make her forever humans so very happy.
