This adorable little lady is Violet, a 4 1/2 year old Papillion/King Charles mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Violet had a home, but was turned in when her owners could no longer care for her. You would think that after being uprooted from the only home she's ever known, brought to one place, then sent down to another place, that this sweet pup would be a bit shaken up, but not Violet! She doesn't let anything get her down! Little Violet is peppy, perky, fun-loving and outgoing. She makes friends easily and is so affectionate too. Violet loves everyone she meets and is really enjoying making new friends and going out for long walks, and even having playtime in our exercise yard. Violet heads straight for our toy box and pulls out an array of things that go squeak to toss around. Violet loves to play and will give back a toy as soon as she's asked. She will also sit nicely and walks well on a leash. Violet doesn't seem to mind other dogs and loves people of all ages.
