My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Fuzzy and I am a 3 year old, reddish blonde, neutered cocker boy. I was an owner turn in at a shelter here in NC and they asked for rescue help because I had a cherry eye that needed to be fixed before I could be adopted out. My owner was moving and told the shelter folks that they could no longer keep me or take me with them. When they turned me in, all of my family came, including the kids who stood nearby crying and really sad, because they had to give up their best friend. It truly broke their hearts to walk out the door that day, and I dearly miss them too!

I am heartworm negative and my cherry eye has now been tacked after CCR raised the money to get this done for me. I am a sweet, very friendly guy, I love attention, I am dog social, people friendly and I am good with kids too. I do have seizures that happen once in awhile, maybe 2 or 3 a year, so I will do best in a new forever home that is a calm home environment where I will not be easily stressed out. I will not be adopted out to anyone living in an apartment or condo and I will do best with children 6 to 7 years and older, who can understand and respect that I do not do well under stressful play or situations that might cause me to have a seizure. I am a real sweetheart, a good boy and I would love to find my new forever home very soon . . .I would love to meet you!
