My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Quincy, an incredibly sweet girl that came in on August 31 as an owner surrender. She was infested with fleas upon arrival and did very well with her first grooming session. She is just a real sweetheart...one of those rescues tha...t are just so thankful for taking them in.

*9/7/13 - Quincy tested positive for heartworm and will be treated in a few days. She will be ready to go to her new home in about 4 weeks.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated against Bordetella, DHLP and Rabies, as well as microchipped prior to adoption. We require a $250 adoption fee that will partially recover our expenses. We do require that an adoption application be filled out and submitted. Upon receipt we will check veterinary and personal references and then schedule a home visit. We do require a fenced in yard (an invisible fence is not an acceptable means of confinement).

We are always in search of approved foster homes. Upon receipt of a foster application, a similar process to an adoption is done. We will provide veterinary care, boarding, and grooming and you will only have to provide food, love and a secure environment.
