Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The first step is to fill out an application. You will find it here at: http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.
We have no physical shelter but are a 100% volunteer foster home based organization.
Frankie was rescued by a passerby who saw him being beaten by a mob of people with bricks and sticks. He was beaten so badly that his skull was exposed and he had to have 17 teeth drilled/removed due to them being broken and fractured....
Still after all he has been through he is a big love bug and he is looking to find a home to call his own. Frankie does get along with some dogs but can be a bit selective.
He loves to spoon in bed..he sleeps on his back with his mouth open..loves belly rubs..walks around with a toy in his mouth most of the time. He LOVES any squeaky toy and loves to run after tennis balls. He knows sit, down, is learning "leave it" very quickly and "drop". He takes treats gently and is very smart.
Frankie needs an experienced owner. He is a big boy with a big heart!
Fenced in yard required.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think what is more important is to get to know each dog as an individual and then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personality in order to determine if they will make a good companion based on your lifestyle. We dot like a dog to be "labeled". Dog behavior is not a breed thing exclusively. It is a complex mix of nature and nurture.
