My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Bonnie. I am an approximately 7 year old 50 pound Hound mix. I am a very sweet girl that loves being with her people. I do great on a leash and love to go for walks. I am housebroken, crate trained, and can use a doggie door. I would excel at doing nosework and training classes. I am very tolerant of children, but do prefer respectful children. In general I do well with other dogs, but I do best with confident, non-confrontational dogs. I am kind of choosy with my doggie friends, you see I lived the first 5 years of my life on a chain and had to learn to defend myself if another dog bothered me so I can be a little unpredictable with dogs I find threatening. I do not do well with cats because I have a high prey drive so I will need a home without them. I am spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $75 and you can get an application at http://www.softplacetoland.org/dog-adoption-application/ if you would like to meet me.
