Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Butterscotch is one of my favorite candies and this little girl has to be one of my favorite little dogs that we have ever gotten. Her story is a little sad. Her owner recently died and she was left without any arrangements being made for someone to care for her. She seemed to sense that she had lost her owner and took matters into her own paws to find another home. As she was roaming the local streets, our animal control officer picked her up, knew who she has belonged to and knew that she was now homeless, so he brought her to our rescue. She has just arrived and with her next vaccine, will be moved into a foster home.
Butterscotch is approx 12 months old and is a smaller sized dog at 25 lbs. She has short legs, a pointed nose, and appears to be a terrier mix, possibly Feist in breed. She has been used to being loved and adored by her owner and she is very gentle, sweet, and loving in return. She rarely barks, appears to be house trained, and does very well walking on her leash. She rides well in the car. I know she was loved and cared for and now she just needs to find another great home like the one she had. She will be ready to transport by September 20.
