Rosey's Story...
Hello, my name is Rosey and I am beagle born in July.
I am used to a crate and don't mind staying in it and I am almost housebroke. Occasionally, I piddle a little, but usually only when I get excited to see people. Dogs, cats and chickens are exciting to me, too and I always try to make new friends.
My favorite past times are walking, attacking grass, and nibbling on people, but only after I have thoroughly cleaned them with them my tongue.

It takes a little bit to get me tired and I would love to find a permanent home where I can run around, explore and eat good food. Will you be my new parents?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosey, a Richmond Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
