Roxy's Story...
Roxy #570 is a 4-month-old very sweet Chihuahua mix. This happy lap dog doesn’t walk: she prances everywhere she goes! She is crate trained and working on leash training. She is friendly with other dogs, cats and children. She just came back to Last Chance after being in a home for a month, where she was an exceptional pup. Unfortunately, her biggest fan a 7-year-old girl was highly allergic and the family tried everything to keep Roxy, but in the end her little girl was too allergic. Nothing would make the family and the little girl happier than for Roxy to find a loving home fast. They gave her a great reference and are eagerly awaiting her adoption into a loving forever home. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Waldorf Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
