Cocao's Story...
Cocoa # 547 is a 10-month-old Lab mix who is a snuggle bug. This high energy girl plays hard and sleeps hard. She is mostly crate trained. Cocao is very smart; she knows sit, lay down, place and give a paw. She is friendly with other dogs, cats and kids. Her foster mom reports she is a good running partner and she is great on leash for walking and running. She would benefit with an adopter who has a fenced in yard where she can run and play or an active family or adopter who will take her out on long walks or hikes. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocao, a Waldorf Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
