Eminem meet me 9/13's Story...
This handsome little man is about 8 lbs and is sweet and happy as can be! He was recently surrendered to us by an elderly woman who could no longer care for her dogs and had to be moved into assisted living. Eminem is VERY friendly and loves everything, but, he is not yet potty trained. He is approximately 2 years old, and was registered, however, we do not take registration papers when we do intakes. Eminem is still a little thin, so we expect he will be approx 10-11 lbs when he is back to 100%. He has all of his vaccinations and has been wormed, AND neutered. He is ready.... oh so ready to have his forever family now!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eminem meet me 9/13, a East Hartford Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
