Buffy's Story...
The first step in our adoption process is an application, which you can submit online at it does not obligate you in any way, but we do not arrange meetings or make telephone contact until we have one. Buffy just loves to snuggle. This sweet little girl is 7 years old and weighs 6.5 pounds. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. Due to her tiny size, Buffy cannot go to a home with a child under 10 years old or with a dog weighing over 20 pounds. If you think there is enough love in your heart and home, Miss Buffy would love to be your newest family member. Buffy’s adoption donation is $75, and if anybody wishes to adopt both Buffy and her friend Birdie, the donation for both would be $100. They are being fostered near Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” your new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION.

We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a Mooy Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mooy, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mooy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mooy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mooy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mooy paves the way for another one to be saved.
