Grace's Story...
My name is Grace. I was found when I was only a few days old. FCR volunteer took me in as quickly as I was found because I desperately needed food. I got a belly full of warm milk and it is full ever since :) I am a very beautiful little girl with leopard spotted fur. I love to play and for a while I had only my human family to play with but now I also have a furry foster brother Rigby. We are quite a pair ;)) My adoption fee is $125 or you can get two of us for only $200. This fee covers rabies vaccine, combo test for feline aids and leukemia, spay/neuter, distemper vaccine and 2 boosters which are administered at the age of 8, 12 and 16 weeks, dewormer and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
