Hi! My name is Ragamuffin. I was found stray running through a neighborhood and a nice lady picked me up and brought me to the rescue. No one ever came looking for me or posted any signs, so now I'm looking for a nice retirement home. The rescue isn't sure how old I am but I am definately an adult, the vet says 7-8 but that is only middle aged for a breed mix like mine. I'm full of spunk, playful, and lively. My eyes are bright, I am heartworm negative, and I have a hearty appetite. My teeth arent so great, but that's just what happens when we get old.The vet pulled 7 of them when I went in to be spayed.I currently weigh 10 lbs.I LOVE human attention and will follow you wherever you go. I enjoy being a lap dog, but I also enjoy a good game of tug-o-war with a toy. I am crate trained but do have accidents in the house occasionally. Whoever owned me before didn't take very good care of me. My fur is thin and I have some sores from fleas, but the rescue is giving me medicine and I'm not itchy anymore. If you are interested in Ragamuffin, please email us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ragamuffin, a Nashville Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
