MAUDE's Story...
My Name is MAUDE. I lived my life on the streets of downtown, LA. It was very frightening ~ I dodged cars, ran away from mean people, stood up to scary dogs and found shade and quiet whenever I could. I hung out with whoever would feed me. Someone put a sweater on me in the winter but when summer came around that sweater made me dirty and hot. Pesky fleas bit me and the bacteria and yeast hurt my skin. My fur disappeared and I became very itchy.

Today, I am in a foster home with a nice family and they are helping me get healthier, more energetic with each day. I am healing so I can find my forever Home. When I do, I will be the best girl EVER! I love to sleep in my crate, I'm potty trained and I walk well on a leash.

Love You Already,
Maude

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAUDE, a Encino Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in Encino, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
