My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The first thing you notice about Clover is the love and positive attitude that is always with her. She almost wears it like a cloak. It's surprising considering this incredibly beautiful Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) was homeless in rural Texas and out of options. But you would never know it! Clover (and her sister Emma) both have a spirit about them that is so calming...and so devoted to anyone who shows love and caring. A soft pat is so gratefully accepted...a belly rub is nirvana. Once thing that is certain is that this lovely girl appreciates all kind gestures..and returns the favor a thousand times over. Clover's challenging life taught her to always give love and devotion with all her heart...when she is acknowledged, the joy starts at her wagging tail and moves up to her expressive eyes - so brimming with appreciation for even the smallest touch. At 14 (or so) lbs and 3.5 years old, Clover has a long lifetime ahead to enjoy the best of life in a permanent home. The efforts of many contributed to the rescue, foster and arrangements for Clover to get her boarding pass to Colorado. The consensus was unanimous that this exceptional pup earned her ticket...with a super-engaging personality and so much love to give that it might just overflow. Clover's foster mom said it the best, "This beautiful girl with the coat that feels like cotton could easily become the love of anyone's life! And she puts so much good into the world...Clover adores me, she can't get enough of my 3 children and she even shows enthusiasm for my grumpy husband. It's not unusual to find Clover wedged into a small spot on the couch with her adorable head on one daughter and her body draped across the other. She loves my kids unlike any dog I've ever had in my home...I trust her completely and enjoy her company tremendously. I take Clover to work with me...and no one can ever get enough of her wonderful personality. We'll all miss her but know that Clover will be the best friend a special Colorado family can ever imagine!" Clover is a non-shedding girl and will therefore require periodic grooming to keep her amazing coat healthy and matt-free.

Clover (and her sister Emma) will be arriving in Denver in mid-September. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional family companion.
