Valentine's Story...
SHORT ON TIME – NOT DOING GOOD AT THE SHELTER!!VALENTINE is a male cream/white colored Lhasa Apso who is approximately 3 years old. His elderly owner recently passed away and he was then taken in by a friend of the owner. The person caring for Valentine had a heart attack and is now in a nursing home so Valentine was surrendered to animal control as there was no longer any one to care for him. Valentine is having a tough time at the shelter as he is TERRIFIED. He is not eating well and will not respond to treats or gentle talk. He literally stays in one place, never moving at all in his kennel. Valentine needs to be in a quiet home environment and know that there is someone there for him. Everything he has ever known all his life has been taken away from him and he needs some stability and to feel safe again. Come save Valentine – Adopt this sad scared boy and let him feel loved again!! Upon adoption, Valentine will be neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $50.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Valentine at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are Mon-Fri 1:00 - 5:30 pm and Saturday 1:00 - 4:30 pm. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentine, a Corpus Christi Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
