Pearl's Story...
Found as a stray and is now available to be your new family member. Meet Pearl. She is a 1-2 year old, 30 pound, brown and white, Terrier, Pitbull Mix. This adorable girl loves being around people and receiving pets. She especially loves belly rubs and enjoys rolling around in the grass. She seems to be very mellow and walks pretty well on the leash. Pearl does seem to be house trained but might just need a refresher course once she is settled into her new environment. She is a lover so hurry in today and adopt Pearl.

Act quickly to adopt Pearl. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
